Educational work:

  • The classes are provided for students by the Institute of air navigation.
  • The orientation practice, technological practice for the students of Institute of Electronics and control systems and Institute of computer technologies are provided.
  • Training of aviation specialists under the contract.

Scientific work:

  • Re-engineering of program and hardware of aviation simulator equipment.
  • Procedure simulators elaboration.

The center includes:

  • Pilot training simulator of the aircraft Tu-154 (the pilot training simulator includes digital simulator of visual environment of Kolimator type with computer image generator).
  • Modernized digital pilot simulator of the aircraft L-410 (the pilot training simulator includes digital simulator of visual environment of project type with computer image generator).

Pilot training simulator of the aircraft Tu-154 allows:

  • Familiarization with pilot cabin, devices operation, control elements and cabin equipment.
  • The study of equipment inspection operation and equipment control on-board.
  • The study of engine control at the different flight modes, aircraft systems, electronic and special equipment and their inspections.
  • The study of piloting in normal and difficult conditions, familiarization with aerodynamic characteristics and aircraft specifications.
  • Flight training in the area of 70 х 70 km with a use of radio navigation technical facilities and communication means
  • Training concerning the monitored instrument landing approach and manoeuvring during landing depending on specific conditions of aerodrome.
  • Training of cabin crew actions in certain situations connected with failures of aggregates and aircraft systems.

The simulator of visual environment for piloting simulator of the aircraft Tu-154 provides:

  • Simulation of day, twilight and night flight conditions during the different meteorological conditions. The simulation of haze, ground fog, 10 types of cloudiness. Operational change of necessary conditions from the instructor work place.
  • The simulation of the Earth surface area of 1400 * 1400 km for any of three airports and non-limited flight above the region without land marks.
  • The simulation is up to 10000 lights of luminous-signal systems taking into account the diffusion, deflection and light reflection in heterogeneous atmosphere.
  • Display of 100000 four-sided figures in the frame.
  • Display of colored image (16 millions of colors).
  • The simulation of various surfaces with a texture.
  • Display of visual information on the indicator with a standard resolution of 1024*768 points. It is possible to display the image with a standard resolution of 625 points without a computer generator. Two colored indicators with a diagonal of 61 c. are realized in the simulation.
  • Angle of visibility is 30*40 degrees. Unspecified task of angle is possible.
  • Maximum time of delay is 60 mc.
  • The system contains a module error correction of potential image mapping that allows to reach a new level of the image reality. Zones of specific airports according to the requirements of airline-requesters are formed. Test support of the system allows to search failures with an accuracy to the module or functional element.

Modernized digital pilot simulator of the aircraft L-410. Modernized digital pilot simulator of the aircraft L-410 allows:

  1. Familiarization with pilot cabin, devices operation, control elements and cabin equipment.
  2. The study of equipment inspection operation and equipment control on-board.
  3. The study of engine control at the different flight modes, aircraft systems, electronic and special equipment and their inspections.
  4. The study of piloting in normal and difficult conditions, familiarization with aerodynamic characteristics and aircraft specifications.
  5. The flights training en-route in the area by size of 500*500 km with a use of radio technical and communication means.
  6. Angle of visibility is 30*40 degrees.
  7. Training concerning the monitored instrument landing approach and manoeuvring during the landing depending on specific conditions of aerodrome.
  8. Training of cabin crew actions in certain situations connected with failures of aggregates and aircraft systems.
  9. The simulator includes digital simulator of visual environment of project type with computer image generator.
  10. The instructor pedestal contains duplicated equipment and the control elements of the training process and calculative complex.

The simulators allow:
