Avionics are the electronic systems used on aircraft, artificial satellites, and spacecraft. Avionic systems include communications, navigation, the display and management of multiple systems, and the hundreds of systems that are fitted to aircraft to perform individual functions.
There are Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs for the speciality 173 ‘Avionics’.
Types of Educational-Professional Program.
- ‘Systems of flight and navigation equipment’
This program provides advanced knowledge in maintenance and repair of modern and advanced aircraft and its electronic systems. Also include aircraft upgrades, installations and modifications.
- ‘Computer design of avionics’
This program provides advanced knowledge in design and production of software and hardware of avionics, based on modern information technologies and software tools for automated design of complex systems such as Matlаb, Scade, Multisim, Solid works, Altium designer, LabVIEW, P-CAD.
- ‘Logistic and informational support for the maintenance of aircraft’
This program provides advanced knowledge in a range of maintenance-related integrated logistic support management activities at a managerial level within applicable airworthiness regulatory requirements.
Duration of degree study: Bachelor’s degree – 3 years 10 months,
Master’s degree – 1 year 4 month.
